Feeding Blog Posts to Twitter via Hootsuite

Blogspot doesn't come with a lot of in-built or easy-to-add plugins like WordPress does. So, awhile ago I thought this was a quick-n-dirty way to feed Blogspot posts to Twitter.

Then, Hootsuite came up with the most automagical way to do it. Way quicker-n-dirtier.

Easy peasy - Sign up for a Hootsuite account, hammer in your RSS feed URL and off you go. (It's not necessary to switch to Hootsuite as your main Twitter app if you're already used to something else. )

But first - find out what your RSS feed address is, if you haven't already.
• In most cases, just add /feed after your URL and it should work.
• If you run a Blogspot blog, add /feed/posts/default or /feed/posts/default/?alt=rss after your Blogspot.com URL. They both work, so pick one. More on this here.

Mini Mobile Charger Shelf

This flew into my inbox today. The idea is there, although it looks a little inconvenient to pack.

Perhaps the 'shelf' bit could be folded into half for flat-packing/ storage, and conveniently folded out when in use?

Is there a 'Top Posts' widget for Blogspot?

I'm looking for a 'Top Posts' or 'Popular Posts' widget for Blogspot. It should fulfill two criteria:

1. It can be independently added without me having to sign up with a web tracking service or website.
2. It should be similar to this widget for WordPress by Ajay D'Souza.

With all my Google-fu prowess, I've only managed to find one such widget (in working condition) by Divya Sai. It's the best I can find but it's far from perfect.

I'd like it to be closer to Ajay's widget in terms of:

• popularity of individual blog posts are counted by number of visits, not by number of comments
• I'd like for the Title of the post to appear, not its URL.
